Amplifying Stories, Advancing Disability Rights
Join us in sharing powerful stories that highlight the urgent need for stronger disability services across the U.S. Together, we are organizing a letter-writing campaign to the Senate, driving real change and ensuring voices are heard.

Sharing Stories to Advance Disability Rights
“Federal funding cuts mean fewer resources for personal assistance, home modifications, and accessible transportation. For seniors and people with disabilities, these supports are what keep us safe in our homes and communities. Without them, we are at greater risk of injury, neglect, and unnecessary institutionalization. When funding dries up, waitlists grow and services shrink. Many are forced to choose between paying for food, rent, or the help they need to bathe, dress, or manage medications. Our dignity is eroded every time we are denied the tools and supports to live independently.”
-Victor Pineda, Center for Independent Living
Real People. Together. Real Impact.
We got tired of sending form emails, leaving messages, and donating to so many different organizations. We decided to try something different. Disability Writes Campaign is dedicated to unifying voices that advocate for stronger disability services in the US. Regardless of disability, age, or location, we believe in equal rights. Share on social media and use #DisabilityWrites and #YesAccess to connect with the movement.
